Nice level sites, clean, not shaded. A bit toward the small size, but OK temporarily. Nice river view. All services worked. Staff person seemed preoccupied, doing just enough to get us into the park. Close to Houston and activities.

Very friendly staff. Furnished Wi-Fi and cable info without asking. Hard to see the correct road at night and then to go to the entrance. Could use new gravel to help clean it up. The office area is not especially inviting, but very good location and centralized for activities in the area.

Pad very level, park very clean, view outstanding. Need to drive to any services you need. Mark down was only because help at the gate did not give directions except to assign a spot, and did not give any brocure of the park to help. Seemed more occupied with the MP3 or like device that her job. This did cause some inconvenience as the site assigned had no signs to it. Well worth visiting again if the staff is more helpful.

Excellent staff assistance! Helped without question on touristy issues. Sites are a little small and need some gravel work. Next to a Camping World and a RV Service & Parts business. Easy location to get in and out. Recommend call because we had to wait for a site to empty. Nashville is a busy place, but it is worth it for show/showboat, etc.

Rain and loose new gravel contributed to my lower rating. Once this settles all should be better. Sites are well marked, but small and clean. Staff took the time to lead us to the site. Most had trees and shade, ours did not. We stayed just one night. It is very close to mall and shopping. History and activities are also close. We were on the Natchez Trace when we found this campground just off it.

Wonderful park totally underrated. The only gripe is the access to get there. There is no access from the office road, but it would work if they let you in. Follow instructions on the Indiana DNR site. Sites level and extra clean. Services worked great. Very close access to Purdue, Lafayette, and related activities. Has a working early farm on the premises as well.

This has a plantation home on site. Sites were clean, level, and services worked perfectly. Lots of new here and lot a work put in. Other plantations and services within an easy drive. I cannot say enough about the cleanliness of this park. Staff was very helpful. Walk up the levee and watch the boats. Very new and nice hall with huge TV. I use a rating of 5 as an "as expected" so a 9 is great from me.

Swimming area. Very nice landscaping. Poor water pressure, just liveable. Excellent views and good water access for fishing.

Gravel sites with a wonderful view of Mesa Verde Park! The view and convenience commands the rating. Close to everything Mesa Verde and is better than being in the Park. This park needs some maintenance, but not serious and is for sale. There were no activities going on in the hall, but it seemed to be a friendly atmosphere.

On a mountain stream with a snow-covered mountain in the background. Sites have limited shade. Staff and owners very friendly with a true small-town atmosphere. We stopped due to mechanical problems and would stop again. No fellowship hall or activities. This is just before (or after) Wolf Creek pass. Sites are gravel with some grass.

People were very friendly. Sites with no shade. Good pads and grass. Great landscaping. Comfortable atmosphere. Recommend for stay unless you have to have shade, but the cleanliness is great.

Surprising interstate noise. No access to restrooms after closing time. Shady sites were not available for us. Gravel with grass and a table. Good for stay while in Indianapolis. No lake access for us while we were there.

Nice interaction of residents if you go to the hall. Sewage smell in parts of the park due to overload of sewage system. Avoid spots downwind from the collection areas. Great wildlife and lots of deer. Lake was very low when we were there. We would visit again upwind for a short time to see if problems have been corrected.

No shade available. No meeting room or activities. Pool was not available for use due to the cold weather. Gravel sites with good grass and table. Washers/Dryers in unheated building with door open. Would stay again, but not for long.

This is a great place for people helping people. While a limited amount is done by the owner, people are taking pride in the way the park looks and helping others. Frequently, a volunteer can help with maintenance issues of the grounds and of your unit. That is a big plus! Watch out, DirecTV satellite access may be blocked by trees so bring plenty of cable and hope the satellite will service you.
